Atlanta PACE Receives City Council Recognition
For the first time in Atlanta, GA labor history, a union has been recognized for hard work and dedication to the members they serve.The Professional Association for City Employees (PACE) Local R5-050, led by Local President Gina Pagnotta, has been recognized for their "unwavering commitment to fighting for fair compensation, reasonable working hours, {and} safe working environments" by the Atlanta City Council.
In a proclimation signed by the entire City Council, the Local is also being praised for their efforts to foster a collaborative environment between labor and management, "engaging in constructive dialogue," and "working toward shared goals {that} has results in tangible improvements in pay and working conditions."
