GIC FY25 Insurance Information
Earlier this week, the Group Insurance Comission (GIC) voted on FY2025 insurance premiums. All Labor Commissioners stood against an increase in premium rates, but were unfortunately overruled by the majority. The increase in costs are attributed to hospital mergers, medical provider consolidations, specialty medication costs on the rise, and so on.Thankfully, co-pays and deductibles will remain the same.
Please note that Unicare is changing it's name to Wellpoint as of July 1.
